"It's the second one I buy. I'm doing perfect in my coffee machine tassimo. The very rich coffee, you can buy the one you like and save the capsule money for not talking about the waste you stop making with the plastic capsules. I think it's better to have more than 1 in case you have to do more than 1 often, since obviously the product to empty it and having 2 has room to cool it."

Carlos, Beau Customer

Beau Capsules were created with the help of some of the best coffee roasters in the world.

When we created Beau Capsules, we knew that the most important thing for success was the quality of coffee they produce. To ensure there was NO compromise and to make sure we deliver the best quality coffee possible, we have joined up with a team of world renowned expert coffee roasters to produce the best design on the market.

100% 304 food grade stainless steel with a specialised filter for perfect extraction.

Help us clean up the ocean! 2.2lbs (1kg) of plastic cleaned up for every pack sold.

It's not just about producing less waste, there is a lot to clean up too! Over 40 billion coffee pods a year in fact! Which is why we have teamed up with the 'Big Blue Ocean Clean Up Charity'. So that, for every set of Beau Capsules purchased, we can clean up 2.2lbs (1kg) of plastic waste from the ocean. That's the equivalent of 200 single-use coffee pods! Get your Beau Capsules now to instantly help us create a cleaner planet.

Support local roasters and drink sustainable, organic coffee.

By using Beau Reusable Capsules you can now drink coffee created by your local coffee roasters and support your local community. Not only that, but our reusable capsules give smaller, boutique roasters the opportunity to offer their coffee to the huge capsule market that they were unable to tap into before. Drink tastier coffee and support your local community. What isn't there to love about that?

Great Coffee and crema! High Quality!

Worth the wait

I had to wait a few weeks to get these. They are extremely well made, very precise. I appreciate that there is no aluminum in their construction. They are fairly simple to use, though brushing coffee dust out of the threads is tedious. They do give a fantastic crema. I have been using the Essenzia Mini, and the capsule fit tightly, but they do fit. They do hold slightly less coffee than a Nespresso brand capsule, so using the short pour button works best. I have been using Recaps from Amazon before this, and Recaps pack much faster (just wipe the lip and seal with foil. I do not want to be consuming aluminum every time I drink coffee, so I ponied up for Beau Caps. I wish they had a 10 pack. I do not use the tamper, but it is high quality. I use the round scoop from the Recap system (since it was already dirty) to fill and tamp these Beau Caps. I use a paint brush to dust the coffee grounds away, though Beau did include a cheap little brush that may be difficult for some to hold onto. These are quite solid and rinse out easily enough. The pictures online don't show all the detail, but these are truly well designed. Any of the espresso grinds in a can will work. I have been using Illy, Bustello, and Gavina mostly. Next I'm going to try Lavazza. (Gavina decaf is strong enough to allow for a long pour, even with these smaller capsules.) Now that I have these, I am hoping my coffee expenditure for this next year will be less than $500. Seriously.

Works great!

I got these so I could try some Bean Box coffee a friend gave me in my Nespresso. While expensive, these capsules and kit are very well made. They seem to work just fine in my machine and I like how it's better for the environment without sacrificing too much convenience. I got the pack of 3 which is good if you want to do several pods in succession as they get hot to the touch. Good product would consider more for myself or as gifts.

Brilliant environmentally-friendly idea

These reusable coffee capsules are amazing- easy to use, high quality and best of all, great for the environment! Will be buying a few more to minimise effort!

Beau capsules, my experiences.

Hi Beau Capsules, I think the product is great. I am completely satisfied with how they work and the quality of the espresso. Great job. My only complaint is how long it took to receive them after ordering but Marija in customer support was outstanding. A great product with great customer support. You guys are doing it correctly. I'm a happy, thoroughly satisfied customer. I have already recommended Beau to several friends. Bravo, Beau.

Only One Issue

These devices are well made and work perfectly - cup after cup - and they are fairly easy to clean. The only problem for us is that they are difficult to remove from our machine when HOT.

Excellent product!

Very happy with these pods, looking forward to many latte’s!

They are very cool. Love having the aroma of our Campos superior blend before commencing loading up our Beau capsules. They work a treat, easy to load and clean afterwards. So much that we ordered another 3! When friends drop in

So well made, make great espresso!

I just love these little reusable pods for my Nespresso! They are super well machined, easy to use, and easy to clean. I love that they eliminate waste, and that I can use my own locally roasted coffee. AND, they make a great cup of espresso. Bravo!

Beau Reusable Coffee Capsules for Nespresso®

3 Pack Beau Reusable Capsules

Packaging and quality of the set was better than I thought. Works in my nesspresso machine well BUT the amount of coffee that fits into the capsule is HALF the amount that comes in a disposable capsule, so , I find I have to fill 2 of the Beau capsules for the same strength. This is a pain because I have given the other 2 Beau capsules to family, therefore I have to clean and refill mine each time I make a coffee otherwise it's very weak. I think Beau needs to see if they can make the capsule bigger to fit more coffee into it. Great concept but not big enough capsules. I even bought very strong ground coffee to see if it made a difference. The Beau capsule is actually a lot smaller than a disposable capsule.

This was a very pricy birthday gift for my husband but he is thrilled to have them. Your service was impeccable though I think I think I could have got it cheaper if I had shopped more around.

Very Good, But You've Gotta Wanna

These are marvelously machined little devices. It is easy to see why they are so costly. Payback vs. Nespresso capsules on a shot by shot basis takes a while. I do not doubt Beau Capsules are the best of the re-usable capsules out there. I like it that there is no paper or plastic involved to foul up flavor. However, having said all that, I urge the potential user to think about the true effort that goes into filling any capsule consistently and cleaning up afterward for re-use. Capsule machines were made for instant convenience. I switched to Nespresso machines for that reason, as I was tired of the rig-a-marole of producing consistent coffee with a portafilter machine, not to mention the cost of a decent true espresso machine. My complaint with Nespresso is the coffee -- with the lack of choices -- yes, despite their apparently numerous lineup. Once you get used to the potential of much better flavor choices, and I'm not talking about the caramel and chocolate and other "candy" flavors used by Nespresso and others to disguise ordinary bad, over-roasted coffee, you will realize espresso can be so much more satisfying. So I use the Beau capsules for my adventures with better flavored espresso, without having to buy an even more costly real espresso machine I buy well sourced and fresh roasted beans and grind them on my own, so I do have a considerable investment in coffee equipment -- I just haven't yet crossed the threshold of a multi-thousand dollar manual true espresso machine for the approximately two shots a day I make. Making really good coffee is not an inexpensive thing. I still buy Nespresso capsules for when I have less time, guests who are less particular, or too many guests to serve with the re-usable capsule process. Users of re-usable capsules should understand they are going to have almost the same amount of work as with a porta-filter espresso machine. If you have a Nespresso machine, and want to go beyond what is normally possible with it, and only want to make a few shots per day, Beau Capsules are worthwhile.

Great product

Great Product, watch out they come from China. Took 45 days to get. They make you think they are coming in 3 days.

Choose your coffee carefully

For my Nespresso, I first tried them with one brand of coffee and they worked well. However, I then tried them with another brand and the water barely came through initially, then completely stopped after about 15 seconds as it seems like the grind was too fine and blocked the holes in the pod. Both brands were an espresso grind.
Either stick to the same brand of coffee, or experiment and keep notes as to what brands work for these pods. I can understand that it was the fault of the grind of the coffee, but it's disappointing that you have to be so selective in order to get the pods to work, because one of the advantages of the pods is that you can select your own coffee brands.

How are Beau Capsules different or better than other reusable coffee capsules?

When we were designing Beau Capsules we tried and tested every other reusable coffee capsule on the market. During this testing period we found various issues, such as, capsules not fitting machines, coffee not flowing through the capsules properly and the coffee coming out weak.

By doing this testing first, we were able to take the best parts of all of the other reusable capsules and use them to create Beau Capsules which are now without a doubt the best reusable coffee capsules in the world.

And we didn’t stop there! We are now on our 4th generation design and are continuously striving to improve our capsules to give our customers the best experience possible.

Which machines do Beau Capsules work with?

Our capsules work with almost all machines.

The only machines NOT compatible are the Krups Essenza Auto Family (Old Version), MI-Schishare, Delonghi EN97, Magimix M100 and the Essenza C100.

If you are not sure whether your machine is compatible, drop us an email at support@beaucapsules.com, or send us a message on Facebook or Instagram, and we will aim to respond within 24 hours :)

How do you clean Beau Capsules? Is it easy?

Yes , it’s super easy, just follow this simple 3 step process (total cleaning time = 30 seconds):

1. Remove the lid and pour the coffee into the bin (food bin if you have one). You can use a knife or spoon to assist if needed.

2. Rinse the capsule and lid under warm water for 10-15 seconds.

3. Dry with a tea towel or leave out to dry.

After multiple uses, you may want to take the silicone seals off to clean underneath them. It’s super easy and will only add a few more seconds.

How long do they last?

If you take care of them and wash them after each use, they can last for 10+ years.

Is there a money-back guarantee?

Yes, we are very confident in our capsules so we offer a 30-day money back guarantee.

Don’t Nespresso recycle their capsules? Why are Beau Capsules better for the environment?

Only around 13% of the 60+ billion plastic & aluminium capsules produced every year are recycled. Reusing is also always more effective than recycling as a lot of energy is required for both manufacturing the billions of capsules and recycling them, so it still has a negative impact on the environment.

Doesn't the machine pierce through regular capsules? How do stainless steel Beau Capsules work in my machine?

Beau Capsules are slightly shorter than the classic capsules and are shaped so the machine does not have to pierce through them. They have a specially designed filter on the inside of the lid to let the water pass through without any trouble.

How do you make a strong coffee with Beau Capsules?

The most important thing is the type of coffee you use. We recommend going for a dark roast profile and a grind size of 142 microns (most coffee roasters will know what we mean).

If you'd prefer to go with a big name brand then our other customers recommend Lavazza Crema e Gusto.

This one may seem obvious but another way to increase strength is to reduce the amount of milk/water you add.

Finally, if you really want something to know your socks off, then you can use 2 capsules to double the strength of your coffee.

How hard should I press the coffee?

We recommend pressing the coffee firmly. If the coffee is tamped too lightly, the coffee may be lighter that you would like.
